Forget the turkey, thaw out the sage

We had our first snow in Everett. I was planning on using my own herbs from the garden for the turkey. Maybe I’ll have to bring them in before they need to be dug out from under a blanket of snow.

Sage, oregano, lemon thyme and English thyme, November 21, 2010Last year we made fresh organic turkey that was stuffed only with fresh herbs and citris fruit slices. Maybe there was onions and pepper too. I'm sure there was some lavender sprigs. Rosemary. Hoping it will survive the winter this year.
